A firewall can work to mask or hide the internet address of the trusted private trusted network from the external public network. Also, the hardware router provides access to the specific network settings of the given trusted device. If you want to set up a hardware router for security purposes you can be sure that it will only enable access to its specific network device, and your private network (if any) will be invisible and unencrypted. As a result, it is recommended to choose a hardware router for security purposes, and if you need good services for this, check it out here to find great firewall services as well.
Enabling a firewall for your specific private trusted network The steps to set up a firewall are as follows:
Click on your current local network you want to use for configuration. Select the network option from the menu that appears. Click the Advanced button. Click Configure Firewall to enter the recommended settings. Click the Set Firewall button.
Your current local network is now set up as a restricted local network on the hardware router (internal network) and in your browser as well (the public network you specify in your client.js). The public network you specify for your VPN connection to be on is therefore hidden from the external public network. You can add a custom network name to the computer (such as “Private Network”) and set it in your client.js.

VPN Client Setup
Click on the Setup icon.
When the setup is done, click on the Proceed to Configuration screen (on Windows, the Proceed to Configure Your Network screen).
Select Network from the Destination drop-down list.
Select local network from the Description drop-down list.
Select Change settings to make any changes.
Click Apply changes.
If you are not planning on setting up a public router, you are recommended to set up a computer on the public network and use that computer as the client. In this case you do not need to modify the network settings in your client.js, as the client is configured to use your own private trusted network and nothing else. However, if you do not want to set up a client, but instead want to keep the software running in the background while using the VPN software, the recommended way is to set up a client on the client. If you are planning to set up more than one client, then make sure to set up the client on a separate machine, and then configure the network settings on the computer that will be the client. You can then connect to the client machine by connecting to it over the VPN connection and using its private trusted network.
If you plan on using more than one computer to connect to your VPN, then you should configure the client to use all of them (especially if you plan to use two or more clients). If you do not plan on setting up more than one computer then only connect the computer(s) that you plan to use to your private trusted network.
If you want to remove a client, simply select it from the drop-down list, and click Remove client from network.
You can view your previous configuration by clicking on Settings Configuration.
