For the second time (I also did it a year ago) I'm doing the P90X 90-day workout program. It's super tough, but if you stick with it, it works. It pretty much has to--working out over an hour a day 6-days a week for 3 months yields results.
I'm in week 5 of P90x, which means I'm starting a new set of exercises after a recovery week (3 weeks, 1 recovery week, then mix it up!). Today is "Back & Biceps" which is the first time I've done this routine. It's 24 exercises with weights, and everyone's favorite, pull-ups. For many (me included) I hadn't done a pull up since high school, even though I work out regularly. In P90X, pull-ups are a staple of the program, and probably the exercise that takes the most getting use to. In the 5 different pull-up / chin-up exercises in tonight's workout, I managed to bang out 40 of them.
The pull-up bar in this picture starts to get blurry after an hour.
