A lot has happened in
Madison, Wisconsin the last week since Scott Walker announced the proposed state budget cuts, changes to state worker contributions to pensions and health care, and the limitations to collective bargaining.
Since I’m doing my photo-a-day project, the protests made for some solid subject matter. I went down on 4 separate days and captured a number of photos in and around the Wisconsin Capitol building. I also covered the Tea Party Rally on 2/19/2011.

It will be interesting to see how this all shakes out in the coming days/weeks. Many states are watching Madison very closely on the outcome. Check here to view all my protest photos.

Nice photos! What lens did you use?
Hey John–
Thanks! I used a number of lenses actually. If you click each individual picture and go to my photography site, then mouse over the image and click the “i” in the upper right-hand corner, you can get very detailed info on how each one was shot (lens, shooting conditions, etc).
